Condition

This is an absolutely gorgeous Omega Geneve Automatic from the 1970s. This example is in superb condition for its age showing just light signs of wear. The watch features a stunning sunburst blue dial. Mechanically, the watch is working perfectly and keeping great time, within 10 seconds per day on a Timegrapher. The satin brushed stainless steel finish makes the polished bezel really pop on this watch!

Dial - The dial is in excellent condition and has some very tiny spots which gives the watch a cool look. These are only really visible when you see the sunburst effect when you turn the watch in the light. 

Case - The case is in nice condition for its age and is showing very light scratching which is a given for a watch of this age. 

Crown - The crown is fully original and Omega signed. It is also working perfectly. The time and date change very smoothly. To change the date, the crown needs to be pulled out to its first position and rotated. To change the time, it needs to be pulled out to its second position and rotated. 

Movement - The movement is fully original and in superb condition both mechanically and cosmetically. 

Case back - The case back is also in great condition showing light scratches from tools. There is an inscription in a very small font "To John for our silver wedding anniversary, yours Barbara". 

Strap - The watch comes with its original Omega bracelet with a satin brushed finish and signed folding clasp. 

Crystal - The crystal is in superb condition showing a few signs of light scratches which are very difficult to see!

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
