Condition

This is an absolutely superb vintage Omega Seamaster Automatic which has two unique features making it very rare indeed. The first is the super rare Cominco logo which sits above the Seamaster on the dial. We believe this was a watch gifted to an employee of a Canadian company of this name. The logo is particularly unique and we have only seen it featured on one other Seamaster. There will undoubtedly be others out there, but they turn up every few years! The rear case also has an engraving stating 'Presented by Cominco to J B Cormack 1924-1964 on his retirement! How many people today can boast 40 years service with the same company! PLUS - this watch has a fantastic patina dial which has really added to the unique look of this watch. Many of our buyers are collectors of the more rare Omega reference numbers as well as those with unique features and this one certainly ticks the box for the latter, find another! Mechanically, the watch is working well and keeping good time within specification. 

Dial - This dial shows some absolutely stunning light patina. 

Case - The gold plated case is in very good condition and is showing light signs of wear due to age! 

Crown - The crown is original and Omega signed. It is working perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This watch is powered by its original 591 Automatic movement which is working perfectly and keeping good time. 

Case back - The case back is fully original and features the famous Seamaster logo with the added engraving as detailed above.

Strap - This piece comes with a very high quality after market black and gold strap which has a luxurious feel on your wrist! 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in excellent condition and is showing very little signs of wear. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
