History 

The Rolex Datejust 1603, originally introduced in the late 1950s, features a stainless steel case, fluted bezel, and the caliber 1570 movement. Renowned for its elegance and reliability, it includes a magnifying cyclops lens for the date display. A collectors' favourite, it epitomises timeless design and technological innovation.

Condition

This is an absolutely stunning vintage Rolex Datejust reference number 1603 from the late 1960s which features a timeless steel jubilee bracelet and a very special fluted bezel. The watch has just had a full service and overhaul meaning that it is working perfectly within specification. This piece has all of its original Rolex parts including the dial, bezel, movement, bracelet and crown. Although this piece doesn’t have its original box and papers, it has had its authenticity verified and an authenticity guarantee card will be provided alongside a luxury wooden presentation box for the watch. 

Dial - Mint

Case - This piece features a stainless steel case which is in fantastic condition and shows very little signs of use. . 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 1570 automatic movement which is flawless in every way. The watch has been serviced recently and is keeping fantastic time for a watch of this age. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows some signs of wear from use over its decades of life. 

Bracelet - The original jubilee bracelet is in incredible condition showing light wear and light flex which is fantastic for a jubilee bracelet of this era! 

Crystal - The watch features an acrylic crystal which was standard for Rolexes of this era. The crystal is in great condition showing very little signs of wear!
