History 

The Rolex Submariner 16610 is one of the most iconic watches ever produced, known for its timeless design, durability, and historical significance in Rolex’s lineup. It was introduced in 1987 as the successor to the Submariner 16800 and remained in production until 2010, making it one of the longest-running Submariner references.

Case & Bezel: 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with a unidirectional rotating aluminum bezel.

Crystal: Sapphire crystal (a step up from earlier acrylic crystals, improving scratch resistance).

Movement: Powered by the Rolex Caliber 3135, an automatic movement known for its reliability and precision, featuring a quickset date function.

Water Resistance: Rated to 300 meters (1,000 feet), making it a serious dive watch.

Bracelet: Rolex Oyster bracelet with solid end links (SEL introduced later in production).

Lume: Initially used tritium (marked T<25) later switched to Luminova (1998) and finally Super-LumiNova (1999).

Condition 

This is a beautiful Neo vintage Rolex Submariner Date from the early 1990s. This watch is in absolutely fantastic condition and shows little wear throughout the watch. This example has just been serviced and also includes its original:

Dial - Mint 

Case - The case is in fantastic condition and shows little signs of wear. 

Crown - The crown is its original Rolex screw down and is in excellent condition and works perfectly in all of its functions. 

Movement - This model houses its original Rolex Calibre 3135 automatic movement which is flawless in every way. The watch has been serviced recently and is keeping perfect time. 

Case back - The case back is original with all of its Rolex markings on the inner. It shows little signs of wear whatsoever. 

Bracelet - The original Oyster bracelet is in exceptional condition showing only very light and minimal wear.
