Condition

We present to you this super example of a vintage Tudor Oyster automatic wind from 1959/1960. This model features a stunning rare silvered two part dial with very desirable features. The watch has a Rolex crown and caseback which are fully original to the watch. This vintage piece is keeping outstanding time and is running perfectly. 

Dial - The spectacular rare silvered two part dial is elegantly detailed with an outer ring in which the beautifully slender hour indexes sit. The inner circle features the sought after Croshair with Tudor rose signature and labeling. The condition of the dial is lovely with a minor wear on the inner part of the dial, please see the pictures. 

Hands - This watch has the stunning Dauphine hands, which is an elegant type of watch hand style introduced in the 1930s. 

Case - The case is in great condition for its age showing just a few minor signs of use. This really is a very presentable example! 

Crown - The Rolex signed wind down crown is fully original and works perfectly in all of its functions. To wind the watch you will need turn the crown anti-clockwise until it pops out to its winding position where you can then wind it in a clockwise drirection. To change the time, pull out the crown to its last setting. You can then return the crown to its original position by applying some light pressure and turn the crown clockwise until it has screwed back against the case.

Movement - This piece is powered by its original Tudor movement which as mentioned before it working perfectly. 

Case Back - The original Rolex case back is in good condition showing some signs of wear. 

Bracelet - The original Rolex Oyster bracelet is in excellent condition and is worth around £1000 on its own! 

Crystal - The acrylic crystal is in great condition and shows minimal wear. 

For a watch of this age, this piece is in spectacular order and is ready to wear!
